This wedding was such an experience. It was the middle of summer, however, it was a rainy, blowy, chilly day and it felt more like fall than anything. Their wedding day would not have been the same under the hot summer sun…it was perfect the way it was. It was drizzly all morning and she looked at me and said, “Do you mind if we go down to the rocky beach for some portraits?” I wanted to kiss her myself!

She had dreamed of saying “I do” at the gorgeous Grand Isle Lake House on Lake Champlain since she was a little girl. Oldies blared out of a record player throughout cocktail hour & all dinner long. Their closest friends & family ate a delicious meal scattered about the wrap around porch and the dance floor was filled with all ages, dancing their hearts out to some of the greatest songs of all time. This wedding seriously holds a special place in my heart. It was so romantic, so easy going, so family centered.
