My family is going to be so proud right now because for once, the personal photos I took of us are available within the same month of the get together. Usually, I’m giving you pictures of last christmas the week of christmas the following year (that’s my personal life people, not the business life). With shooting for a living, I document & edit everyone else’s images all the time! So in my free time, I dont wan’t to be editing anything else…I want to be experiencing my free time to the fullest. So I’m super guilty of kinda documenting life and then letting said images collect dust on my hard drive. For months. #photogprobs

My family + some of our closest friends got a house right on the beach in Hatteras, North Carolina for a week & it was nothing short of lovely.

I consumed like my full healthy recommendation of daily calories by lunch time almost everyday. Drank margaritas in can. Attempted to sleep in (maybe edited a bunch in between naps) & spent time with the people I love just doing a whole lot of nothing.

I was semi dreading this trip just because it fell right in the dead middle of the busiest season of my entire year. But it turns out….it was just what I needed.

The following images were the result of the only time I took out my camera of the whole trip which was probably 30 minutes total. There’s just a whole lot of Kenli in these pictures because she’s truly one of the cutest humans ever so I just can’t help myself.

I dont have any updated, honest images of my parents so these make my heart so happy!

Just a little PSA for everyone, I feel like it’s my public duty to let everyone know that the super handsome man in the dusty blue between my dad & I…yeah that stud…he’s single ladies. Single. In his 20s. Can sing real country music like a manly attractive angel. And will take you on adventures. And loves his niece to pieces (you know that’s attractive girls).
