So this is officially my ABSOLUTE favorite edition of The Knot Magazine. EVER!
It’s the only time I will ever be in The Knot Magazine as a bride AND photographer!
One of my favorite brides to date was featured who I swear is my soul sister. We still text each other when we snag a good antique find. The second she said blush bridesmaids, farm tables with garlands, lace sleeves, and “flower explosion,” I didn’t like just Christina. I loved her (sorry trav).
But seriously. This couple is beautiful inside and out and I’m so honored to have been apart of their Ironstone Ranch wedding along with all the other amazing vendors! They are truly one of the most genuine couples and they deserve it.
The staff at Ironstone Ranch is always so kind and dedicated to making your wedding amazing. Petals with Style created dreamy, lush florals for basically everywhere you looked. The Bakers Table designed such a lovely, delicious dessert bar. Treasured Rentals completed Christina’s vision with vintage decor rentals. Stefani Burket of The Bonafide Ginger made everyone look their beautiful best with her magical hair and makeup. Klock Entertainment made the party happen!
AND! It just so happens I also got married last year! Like Christina, I dreamt of a sophisticated, glam, farm wedding. Complete with eucalyptus garlands, a very specific floral vision, and a dress with lace sleeves.
It just hit stands this week!
I need to give a shoutout to Lori of Wild Flowers by Design for capturing my dream floral vision and making it happen and giving me some good floral education in the process :) Stefani Burket for being super on point with hair & makeup and becoming a dear friend. Fiffer of Treasured Rentals for being one of the sweetest human beings I have ever met and providing all those vintage pieces to complete the aesthetic. Kent Mast & his wife made our video and it’s the most special, accurate depiction of our relationship and we will cherish it till we are 80 :) Not to mention, they were like a fly on the wall. And I still love them. You can see it HERE. Ryan Miller Entertainment was super fun in the planning process and continues to be one of my favorite DJs to work with. And Posh Bridal. Ohh Posh Bridal. They made my dress from scratch yall! It was so fun and I was beyond satisfied with the result. Seeing Janel Berte sketch my idea, we picked my fabrics, and she constructed the final thing to perfectly fit me just weeks before the wedding. It was amazing, they’re amazing, and I LOVE them. Creme de la Cakes made the best lemon, raspberry wedding cake I’ve ever had while Johnson’s Farm (the farm Justin grew up working on) provided all the pies for our pie bar! Sarah McKay of Lauren Fair Photography did a lovely job of capturing the day. Lastly, Kriste of Rosemary & Thyme made everything happen for us. Shooting 13ish weddings in a row right up to the weekend of my wedding, while working full time, and renovating a house did not leave much time for wedding planning or projects. She crafted, organized, shopped, and was in charge of making the vision come to life. Boy did she ever.
SO! Without further adieu….
It’s still so funny to see my career as officially “Wedding Photographer.” I just had to include that :)
