I'm Brianna. Pennsylvania based wedding + portrait photographer. My hair is typically in a messy bun, I usually have a baby on my hip, and I never say no to cake. I want photographs to feel as good as they look, and my overly sentimental, married, momma heart knows the weight of soulful photographs all too well.

Hanover Family Session | Burkentine Family

One of the best parts of my job is getting to know a family and capturing them as they grow each year. The Burkentine family is one of those families who has trusted me year after year – and I am so grateful to them for that. Every session we do together is beautiful and TONS of fun… and this year’s Hanover family session at sunset was no exception.

This summer session was a true testament to simplicity when it comes to family portraits. Because of the time of day we met (thanks naptime and bedtimes for little ones), the sun was super bright. We stuck to the one tree we could find that provided some shade and shot their entire session there. We maybe worked within a 20 foot circle, but it was SO worth it. I appreciate the Burkentine family for trusting me. It’s just a huge reminder that you don’t need much for beautiful portraits that tell a story!

Whether we’re at their house or out in a field, I just adore this family. They make my job easy and each session is so refreshing. I’m so happy they love the simple things like me. Their perfect outfits and the little spot we found worked perfectly for this summer Hanover family session. To the Burkentine Family, thank you – again, for allowing me to document your beautiful family. I’m so honored to know you!
