I'm Brianna. Pennsylvania based wedding + portrait photographer. My hair is typically in a messy bun, I usually have a baby on my hip, and I never say no to cake. I want photographs to feel as good as they look, and my overly sentimental, married, momma heart knows the weight of soulful photographs all too well.
This wedding from last Spring was photographed by Sus, one of the lead photographers on my team. Here’s what she had to say about it —
“There’s a photo of Jim hugging his mom and his son that might just be my favorite photo I’ve ever taken. It was after the ceremony as the family was gathering for family formals and Jim showed his mom the back of his tie which had a photo of his late dad sewn into it. They held each other for a little bit, and then Jim’s son joined in. It is a moment I’ll remember forever and it is moment that will always remind me why I do this.
I sometimes can’t believe we get to be a part of moments like that. Moments so special and so intimate. It’s not lost on us that when we photograph a wedding day we’re stepping into unique stories, dynamic relationships, deep sorrows and deeper joys. We just get a small glimpse of, but man, we’re so grateful to be a part of it.
From start to finish, this day was packed with emotion and joy and life and I hope you feel that through these images.”
