2014. You were a heck of a year.
So much so that my “favorites post” is coming in February of 15′.
I thought I’d skip out on it this year but there were just too many good ones. It was pretty fun gathering all these and looking back.

Two things I learned about myself:
1. I love black and whites. As I sorted through every single session and wedding, I picked A TON of black & whites. I just love how timeless and nostalgic they feel.
2. I’m a sucker for joyful moments. Those pictures where people are cracking up, she’s sweetly giggling, or children are just howlin’. I am just a downright huge fan of the happy times. I love all the moody, dark photographers out there and respect them so much. However, the raw happy emotion gets me. I’m always drawn to those images. And I will continue to seek to capture the joy filled moments.

Thank you EVERYONE for making 2014 amazing. You pushed me outside my comfort zone and into a whole new career. There will be a big announcement hitting the blog early spring about Brianna Wilbur Photography in 2015. Stay tuned.
