Many people are always shocked when I tell them this family session was captured in my backyard. There’s really no place like home, right?! This session is long over due to share because she was newly pregnant with their fourth babe here and that baby is now earth side! I think it’s time I share this beautiful family! The Martin’s were one of the families that booked a farm session with me last summer. These family sessions take place right in my backyard! It’s just a simple grassy area with some trees, nothing too fancy, but it’s the perfect spot for short portrait sessions.

It was so special to photograph them as a family of five because Alyssa & Weston were some of the first people I EVER photographed many years ago. It was an honor to be welcomed into their lives years ago, and oh so incredible to photograph them all these years later. I love seeing their family grow!

PS – Alyssa’s dress is from Nothing Fits But. I love these dresses for mommas because they work pregnant and not pregnant! They are so girly and feminine, too!
