I'm Brianna. Pennsylvania based wedding + portrait photographer. My hair is typically in a messy bun, I usually have a baby on my hip, and I never say no to cake. I want photographs to feel as good as they look, and my overly sentimental, married, momma heart knows the weight of soulful photographs all too well.
It’s been a year since I photographed this day and I still can’t stop thinking about it. You’ll see as you scroll, this day was truly beautiful.
The venue at Gibson Island in Maryland — right on the water! The weather — not a cloud in the sky! The details — perfected curated and intentionally dreamed up by the bride herself.
But believe me when I say, the most memorable and beautiful parts had nothing to do with what it looked like, and everything to do with how it felt and the people that were there.
I’ll never forget their first look when Bryan knocked on the door to Erin’s airbnb and she just opened it. That was it. No production. No tap and turn. It was so simple, so beautiful, so real.
I’ll never forget that so many of Erin & Bryan’s people traveled from all over to show up for this marriage. They had friends from every walk of life, from all over the world, which tells you exactly the kind of people Erin + Bryan are. They are loyal, intentional people.
I’ll never forget their first dance out on the patio.
The way Bryan carried her shoes when she took them off.
The fact that Erin spent months learning how to speak Mandarin so that she could give a speech to Bryan’s family.
I’ll never forget Bryan’s sister’s speech that made us all remember that the bond between siblings is irreplaceable.
I could go on and on, but just see for yourself. You’ll feel it too.
This one was a really special one.
There are days that reminded you so loudly why you do it. And this was definitely one of them.
