Every spring, I get asked to do portrait sessions with blooming flowers. Springtime is known for the pink blooms erupting everywhere! One of my favorite spots to see them is around Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. As you can see in this beautiful maternity session, there are so many pretty flowering trees around the city!

I met Lauren when I went to New Zealand on a photography trip in 2016. I treasure her friendship and love watching her family grow. Recently, I photographed them as a family of four, but could not forgo posting their maternity session from last year – it’s one of my favorites!

I am often asked “Bri, when should I schedule maternity photos?” I like to suggest doing them between 28-32 weeks. Every woman shows differently, and this allows us some wiggle room to reschedule for rain if need be.

The next question I usually get asked is: “But Bri, where do I buy a dress?!”

So many of my mommas just buy a normal dress in the next size up – this definitely opens up more places to shop!
