I'm Brianna. Pennsylvania based wedding + portrait photographer. My hair is typically in a messy bun, I usually have a baby on my hip, and I never say no to cake. I want photographs to feel as good as they look, and my overly sentimental, married, momma heart knows the weight of soulful photographs all too well.
Josh & Erica’s maternity session was a joy to photograph at Hershey Garden. Erica just celebrated her first Mother’s Day this week and I’m so happy that she has joined the motherhood club. It is the absolute best!
Let’s chat a little bit about maternity sessions. I am often asked: “When should I take maternity photos?” or “When should we get on the schedule?”
My personal recommendation is somewhere between 28-32 weeks! After going through three pregnancies myself, I think it’s a great time for all mothers (first timers or not)! It’s that lovely sweet spot when your bellies are out, but not to the point where you’re feeling ready to pop…you gals know what I mean!
It also allows for some wiggle room to reschedule if you aren’t feeling well or it rains and we need to reschedule.
Maternity sessions are always such a joy to photograph, and I absolutely loved capturing Josh and Erika. They had just moved back to the Philadelphia area and how sweet that they started a new season of life with a new baby, too!

Thank you for the note. I will get back to you soon.
